2016 Bruins Baseball Summer Camp

August 1-5 2016, Ages 12-15

The Ballard Baseball Camp is designed to assist middle school players in the development of their baseball skills.

The camp will center around individual, small group and team instruction. The Ballard Baseball Camp coaching staff will assist camp players in learning and developing correct batting form, defensive fundamentals, and team strategies. A basic overview of baseball rules and their effect on team play will be discussed by the coaching staff.

Players will be divided in accordance with their skill levels to allow for actual game/team experience

Equipment Required

Players must provide the following equipment:

• Bat
• Glove
• Baseball pants & t-shirt (no shorts)
• Baseball hat
• Tennis shoes
• Cleats
• Batting helmet *
• Catching equipment (catchers only)
• Water bottle

*Items may be shared between players. Activities will be limited to campers who are not equipped with the required equipment.

Please make sure to bring your own sunscreen!

Campers will be outside for an extended period of time. Please keep in mind that because of the heat, we will take water breaks regularly; however, it is very important that the campers are properly hydrated and eat correctly prior to coming to camp.

Tuition | 1 Week: $100

Additional $10 registration fee for registration received on or after the first day of camp.
