Meade County

We return 6 seniors, 2 juniors, and 5 sophomores. We will only have 13 guys on the Varsity roster this year with 8 of those being pitchers. This will be an experienced group with the 5 sophomores that all contributed last year as freshmen. We had one of the toughest schedules last year that we have ever had, which will help continue us to be competitive as this year’s schedule isn’t any easier. This group is starting to learn how much mental toughness is a huge factor in the game. It challenged us last year and is really showing how much we’ve grown this offseason to grind things out when it gets tough. If we can continue that into the season and grinding out every pitch, I look for great things to come out of this 2019 season.
