Coach Walker on his 2018 team:

“We lost 2 key players from last year’s team to graduation in Will Moriarty, drafted 32 nd Round MLB draft by the Rangers, and Tanner Johnson, scholarship to UK. We will have to replace our top arm and top 2 hitters. Brennan LaBarbera will have to step in as our #1 arm and pitch our big games, he has signed with EKU. Defensively we will be very good with speed in the OF and solid gloves all around the INF. Offensively we will have to hit for average and get guys on base. We will work to manufacture offense using our team speed and small ball skills.”
